Fragile Spring, Parts III & IV

III. Enclosure

Severe homesickness. Is a flower

still a flower?

Spellcheck says a rose by any another name

still smells sweet.

Consider revising. A rose

is a rose is a hyperlink.

Severe home. Sickness is a flower

in the meadow I am not

permitted to. Roses are red

as blood in the movies

darker, thicker.

Real blood looks too thin, too bright.

IV. Occlusion

Electron clouds rain

uncertainty: If I am everywhere

I am nowhere. Sudden death,

position vs. momentum. One stroke difference.

It's easier to build walls

and traffic lights, fences. To make lists.

Nature's greatest invention is the bilayer,

man's is sin.

If we know everything

then we know

nothing. Together

let's count to ten.
