Inception/Conception

What's in a name? Everything, I ween. This blog takes its name from a verse in "Cantata," an exquisite, incisive poem by the criminally overlooked genius of San Francisco Renaissance poet Jack Spicer.

Cantata

Ridiculous
How the space between three violins
Can threaten all our poetry.
We bunch together like Cub
Scouts at a picnic. There is a high scream.
Rain threatens. That moment of  terror.
Strange how all our beliefs
Disappear.

Prithee, join me in my explorations of the space between three violins.
